Bullard Tavern

A place where Texas Hospitality and Oregon's bountiful food landscape meet, Bullard Tavern brings an unexpected twist to downtown Portland dining. Situated in the heart of the city, Bullard Tavern is the marquis for the Woodlark Hotel, a turn of the century Portland landmark.

During the pandemic, Bullard decided to reposition their restaurant into a more casual, tavern-like feel. With that came an update to their identity system. Portland-based agency Dogcatcher Creative reached out to partner on the project, with them leading client relations and high-level direction, and FCS leading creative exploration and execution. Brand direction and inspiration were derived from western/vintage taverns bringing an authentic look & feel to their new identity.
